How-To: Create A Pull Email Campaign

Pull campaign message allows you to pull content from a particular Web page right before the scheduled send. This is particularly helpful if you have scheduled the campaign in a few hours and are still updating the content. The actual final content isn't added until the campaign is about to send to your selected list.

Campaigns > Email Messages > Add Email Campaign

Step 1

Click on the first selection, 'Pull Campaign'.

Step 2

Give your campaign a name, specify your targets (if any), and also select which list you will be sending to. Click on 'Save&Continue'.

Step 3

Enter a subject for your campaign. You can choose to insert a personalized option. Enter the URLs where your campaign is located. You can choose to have a seperate HTML template and Plain Text template. Click on 'Save&Continue'.

Step 4

On this step, you can choose what options to add to your campaign. Check the options you would like, and click on 'Save&Continue'.

Step 5

Confirm Page: This is the last page of the email campaign wizard. This page gives you an overview of your campaign and you can go back edit any section of your campaign by clicking on one of the pencil icons. The last step is telling Stun what you want to do with your mailing.

Your options include:

Send Now: This sends your message out either immediately or within a range of 10 minute increments up to one hour.

Send One Time: This allows you to schedule the message for a future time/date. The campaign will be sent accordingly but only as a one-time message.

Recurring: If you have a message that you wish to be delivered multiple times, you should use this option to deliver the campaign. You may set up the message to be delivered either every day/week/month or on selected dates. (This is the most popular option for 'Pull Campaigns')

Send to Test Account: It is recommended that you first send your message to a test group prior to sending to the entire list.

Save as Draft: This is good option if you are not ready to send your campaign. It will be saved with all of the changes you have made, and ready for you to send at your convenience at a later time.
