Template Editor > Image Manager

Once you have the image manager window up, click on the small arrow next to your image.

Then choose "Delete" from the menu that popped up.

Note: Deleting images is a PERMANENT action. If you delete images that were used in a previous campaign, they will not be displayed in the e-mail campaign any longer.
