Adding A Subscribers Form Double Opt-In:

Manage Forms > Add Custom Web Form

Confirm Subscribers (Opt-in)
A confirmed (Opt-in) subscriber is one who has not only signed up for your list but also replied to a message which validates their subscription.

Step 1.

Select List: Choose the list you wish to tie to the form. If you haven’t created a list yet, then you need to go to the Manage Lists section to do so.

Step
2.

Confirm Opt In : A confirmed subscriber is one who has accepted to receive campaigns after clicking a URL to validate their subscription. It is a good idea to ensure that you have as many confirmed subscribers as possible to protect you from any spam complaints.

============================================================

Step
3.

Subscription Form Copy: Tell your visitors about your service and why they should sign up for your list.

============================================================

Step
4.

Display logo: You have the option of displaying your logo to reinforce your brand on the form.

============================================================

Step
5.

Upload logo: Browse your local machine and upload your logo in either JPG or GIF format.

============================================================

Step
6.

Display banner: Banners are a great way to help reduce your monthly messaging costs by allowing mobileStorm partners to promote their products to your subscribers.

============================================================

Step
7.

Banner position: Choose where to display the banner on your form.

============================================================

Step 8.

Select a Template: mobileStorm allows you to choose from a variety of pre-made templates to better complement your site's design.

============================================================

Step 9.

Select color: Choose a color that best reflects the design of your site. (If you specify a background and text color, choosing a template is obsolete.)

============================================================

Step 10.

Choosing fields to capture: This section is entirely up to you. You can choose which demographic information you want to capture. Make sure that you preview your form to make sure you have selected all the right fields.

Add Custom Field (Optional): A custom field allows you to find out specific information about your subscribers that aren’t covered in the default fields listed above.

Is this an open ended question?: Use an open ended question to allow people to write whatever they wish.

Add answers: Use this if you said No to the question above.

Can a subscriber select more than one at the same time?: Depending upon what you want to capture you can allow users to choose more than one answer or simply make it a single choice. Either way, the information will be captured for targeting.

What do I do after I have created the form?

Preview: See what the form will look like before you finalize it.

Send HTML Source Code: If you want to have the form integrated into your existing site, then you can give your webmaster this code to do so.
