Creating a Target:

Target
A target alllows you to send a message to people in your database based on specific demographic requirements. Choose the criteria for the target from any of the fields your forms capture, such as City, Age Range or Occupation.

Accounts > Targets

Step 1.

Click the 'Add Target' button.

Step 2.

Specify a target name.

Step 3.

Create/Choose a group you want to add the target to. Groups give you the ability bunch your targets together. Example, you may have state targets such as CA, OR, MD - you can group those targets together in the group called "States".

Note: This step is not required.

Step 4.

Targets can be created from any portion of your subscriber form, such as Males 18-24, or Females in California. The scope of the target is up to you, and with mobileStorm you can create as many targets as needed.

For example, you can create a 'Hotmail' target, that will target all of your @hotmail.com subscribers. In the e-mail address box, put '@hotmail.com'.
