How-To: Re-query Cell Phone Numbers

Many times, users switch over to a new carrier and their carrier information is not updated within mobileStorm. We know have a feature to "re-query" an entire SMS list, or only active or in-active subscribers on a particular list.

Manage Lists > My Lists

  1.  When you reach "My Lists", you may notice a new icon for your SMS list(s). ()

  2. Click on that icon to re-query cell phone numbers. The below window will pop up.

  3. Choose what type of cell phone subscriber you would like to query. Once you choose your value, click on "Continue".
    a. All Subscribers - This will query all cell phone numbers on this list regardless of status.
    b. Active Subscribers - This will only query "Active" cell phone numbers on your list.
    c. In-Active Subscribers - This will only query cell phone numbers who have bounced or have become in-active.

  4. The next page will confirm how many users you are going to re-query. Click on "Query Carriers Now" to move to the next step. If you do not have enough credits, the system will allow you to purchase more.

Note: Depending on how many cell phone numbers you are querying, this process can take some time. Be patient and wait for the next screen to load up.

  5. The last page will show you the results of the query.
