First Company to Offer User-Generated Reputation Evaluations Online Selects mobileStorm to Enable New Wireless Capability.

LOS ANGELES, CA - RepCheck, Inc., creators of the first online service for assessing and quantifying personal reputations, today announced a partnership with wireless applications developer mobileStorm, to help consumers and businesses access reputation information instantly via WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) enabled devices. The new partnership is designed to expand availability of RepCheck’s online database of character information to wireless customers who utilize such devices as PDAs, Internet enabled cell phones, and other mobile Internet appliances.

In making the announcement, RepCheck’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Maltin described the partnership as a natural progression for RepCheck.com and the best method currently available for accessing information about the reputations of others in real time. “This is a great way for RepCheck to expand its services to help the general public access reputation information whenever and wherever it’s most convenient,” explains Maltin. “Our newest offering is ideal for people who need character references and background information on the spot. We believe this will help individuals make well informed decisions to either move forward in a relationship with confidence, or steer clear of a potentially unsavory character.”

RepCheck’s agreement with mobileStorm includes the collaborative development of customized technology for WAP enabled products, consumer support for wireless offerings and various online and offline cross-promotional opportunities.

“In joining forces with RepCheck, mobileStorm has an opportunity to enhance a very useful wireless offering” stated mobileStorm’s Chief Executive Officer Jared Reitzin, “Our services, combined with RepCheck’s content, add a new dimension to the type of information accessible through WAP enabled products.”

Wireless users can access RepCheck’s services remotely through a WAP enabled device at www.repcheck.com. RepCheck content is user-generated and can be viewed by everyone. Postings at Repcheck.com are used to rate individuals with reference to both social and business situations to create a RepReport, and an overall numerical RepScore based on trustworthiness, responsibility, honesty, compassion, respect and credit-worthiness. RepCheck employs proprietary technology, which weighs the impact each posting has on an individual’s reputation by cross-referencing the originator’s RepScore and prior posting history.

About RepCheck

RepCheck is a Los Angeles-based new media company specializing in the development of online tools that assist both consumers and businesses with public information and character references for individuals. The company’s Web site, RepCheck.com, employs an interactive and searchable database of “RepReports” that allows the public to post and view information regarding the personal reputations of themselves and others. The RepScore rating is then transformed, via a rating scheme that weighs the credibility of the source, into a numeric indicator of overall reputation.
