UPGRADE: Stun! API Enhancements
Friday, December 21st, 2007

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide our clients with the ability to use their own applications and forms, we’ve recently updated our Stun! API in a couple of key areas. First, we’ve enhanced our security surrounding the APIs to ensure that client data is as protected as possible. We’ve also split up the various calls of the Data Out API into their own separate URIs. For example, if you need to retrieve the abuse addresses, you can now use a straight call of https://services.stun1.com/dataout/getAbuse.php We will also be offering a couple of new APIs shortly so stay tuned!

UPGRADE: Target Suppression Option
Thursday, December 20th, 2007

We have updated our targets feature to now include the option to suppress certain targets from a campaign. Now, you can select the NOT option when creating a campaign within Stun! to have the blast skip selected targets. For example, if you wanted to send a campaign to your California prospects that you set up but not include say Los Angeles and San Diego since it’s for a Northern California promotion, you can use the NOT feature to accomplish this.

UPGRADE: New HTML Template Editor
Monday, December 3rd, 2007

Description:

After some feedback and suggestions, we have upgraded our HTML template editor, which both streamlines some of the existing options as well as provides better cross browser support. New features include:

  1. Spell Checker
  2. Refined HTML code view for better editing
  3. Find/Replace text

Right now, the editor has only been replaced in the email campaigns section but we will soon migrate the other sections (like Autoresponders and RSVP Manager) soon. We will also be modifying the knowledge database to reflect the changes to the editor. We recommend that you do not copy your old campaigns which were created in the older editor. Copying these campaigns can result in faulty HTML code and effect your delivery.

NEW FEATURE: Webmail Import Tool
Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Stun! now features a very cool new option that allows you to import your address book from various major Webmail providers and upload contacts directly into your Stun! list(s). Supported providers include: AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail amongst others. This option is located within the Add Multiple Subscribers section under Subscribers. Once you select this as your import method, you will be asked to provide the username/password for the Webmail client you are trying to access. The system will then automatically pull all of your contacts from that address book and you can then select which contacts to import. Like the regular upload method, if there are more than 200 records chosen, they will be processed manually by our support team. Please note that this feature only applies to email addresses.
