Suzanne thanks for the props! If you think about it SMS is one of the only forms of communication that can be layered within other forms of communication. For instance you can incorporate a short code into a billboard (as seen here), a radio spot, TV, magazines/flyer, email and web. It instantly gives you a good gauge as to how many eyeballs you are getting or in this case, how much revenue you are driving.

What an interesting case study. As a long-time direct marketer, I am fascinated about the potential of incorporating digital marketing into my tool-box.

I can't wait to learn more about the quantifiable results you mention here. My bet is that, with the right market (as you clearly have with this MGM story), and in these early days of digital marketing, that the ROI will be impressive.

Will check back often!
