That's the same as http://zamano.com/sms-aggregation-gateway/ isn't it though?

I wonder why they're running two sites.

What are the key things to look for with an aggregator?

I've been looking for someone in Ireland and I'm more or less decided to go with http://zamanosolutions.com/sms-aggregation-gatewa... or TextRepublic at this stage.

I am wondering the same thing. I did read a post similar to this one back in 2008. They mentioned some of the same things and wondered how long everything would last. Now I rather curious....if I find anything about this subject I will post back soon. Until then, thanks for the article.

Jared
Do you think things have improved since you wrote this post in 2007 or are the aggragators essentially the same? Who do you consider the top two best aggragators?

David, I don't have experience with SMS gateways but I do know that Kannel is the most widely used and accepted. We integrate with aggreagtors like Singlepoint and Mblox. We as much traffic as we do we need to have more of an enterprise partner who can also give us excellent customer service.

Jared,

What SMS gateway software would you recommend for a starting company? I'm currently working on kannel (kannel.org), but of course haven't done much since I need a SMC.

Why do not you all start using a stand alone multiport SMS BOX, which gives you more control and alternative for the aggregators , you can see one in the following link http://www.hyperms.com/products/sms-gateways.aspx
